Case Study: City of Saint-Tropez
A Collaboration between the City of Saint-Tropez and Synexie
Long appreciated by artists, Saint-Tropez attracted an international “jet set” in the 1960s, and continues to seduce visitors with its beaches and nightlife. The cobbled district of La Ponche bears witness to its past as a fishing village, although yachts now outnumber fishing boats in the Old Port.
The main objective was to manage network infrastructure, maintenance and the implementation of new IT projects.
Since the 1950s, Saint-Tropez has been an internationally renowned seaside resort on the French Riviera. Beginning with the film “Et Dieu… créa la femme” (And God… created woman) in 1956, the New Wave of artists became infatuated with the area (several movies were filmed here, including La Piscine, La Cage aux folles and the “Gendarmes” series).
